Beyond Today

Lady Walk     Galatians 6:2 says, "Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ." As a grief support group, Beyond Today is in keeping with that law by affording those who suffer from the grief induced by the loss of a loved one the opportunity to share that loss with others. Participants learn not only how to share their burdens with others but also the incredible blessing of helping to carry the burden of a brother or sister in Christ. In turn, they grow through their grief in a healthy way.

Choir

Under the direction of Lori Swedberg, our choir shares its gifts during the most Sunday morning worship services. Choir practice is at 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays. During the summer months, the choir takes a break while other gifted musicians share their gifts.

Ladies Fellowship Walk

Lady Walk     The Ladies Fellowship Walk takes a holistic approach to spirituality. Twice a week, ladies gather to walk together for fitness, building the body into a healthy instrument of God. While together, they share their lives - their blessings, their challenges, their experiences of God working in their lives. As a consequence of seeing God's hand in their lives, they are able to focus on him instead of life's challenges. In turn, faith develops into more of what God always meant their lives to be, and they become greater women of God, more powerful instruments of his grace. (top)

Merry Elders

Lady Walk     The Merry Elders is a group of elderly (although the term is used loosely since a minimum age limit has never been set) who gather monthly in cross-denominational Christian fellowship. A majority of participants are from New Bethel Baptist Church and Franklin Central Christian Church. Activities vary and often include the sharing of a meal togther. The key ingrediant to the ministy of the Merry Elders is the gathering together "with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people." (Acts 2:46-47) (top)
